To our Customers, our Partners and our Communities:
As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to work its way through our global community we are all being asked to make changes in our daily routine; to adapt to do our part in the fight against this disease. Looking for positives in all the work ahead of us, the good news is that we are quite adaptive to change. In fact, since the start of the pandemic we have already seen some phrases finding their way into our daily lexicon to describe our current circumstances; phrases like Social Distancing, Shelter in Place and Essential Business.
The Coronavirus is also changing the way in which we work. As we navigate new work-from-home strategies that are being deployed across the globe, it strikes me that we have never been more disconnected, and yet in a strange way more connected than ever. Empowered by technology and encouraged by our loved ones, I have to say I have never been more proud of the work we do and the manner in which we do it.
As we continue to strive to understand the breadth and depth of the pandemic’s impact on our families, businesses and our communities, I felt it important to reach out, to relay our own approach to this evolving situation.
For avoidance of any doubt, I want to first confirm that Adcom & the Radiant Network meet the definition of an Essential Business as defined in the various Shelter in Place and other similar state and municipal mandates that are being implemented across the country and we are open for business. Second, I want to reassure you that all Adcom & Radiant Network locations are 100% operational, working to ensure that creative and value-added solutions are delivered for our customers in this challenging business environment.
At the same time, we are committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our employees, families and the public as a whole. To this end and over the past number of weeks, we have successfully deployed a work-from home program in our locations across the network in a way that has ensured little to no disruption for our customers, vendors and partners alike.
In answering the call for ‘social distancing’, our network has been taking full advantage of the digital world, with online ‘face to face’ meetings, as well as with webinars and virtual events. In the last two weeks alone, we have clocked over 210 individual meetings across over 35,000 minutes with participants in 7 countries, ensuring that we stay current with customers and our locations around the world.
We also are running a live timeline with global capacity updates and news. This has been publicly available since February for all. Adcom understands the tremendous impact this evolving situation has had on so many. We are committed during what is already for many a difficult time, to supporting businesses and customers both small and large. As we adapt, our focus remains on you, your growth and your success—even in this challenging climate.
As an extension of this, some of Adcom and the Radiant Network's most important work has been in support of the communities in which we all live and work. Across the network we have made sustained and meaningful contributions in this time of crisis. We have delivered urgent shipments of food to our stores. We have ensured the timely delivery of medical supplies to our US Bases overseas. We have supported the efforts of FEMA in delivering water and other critical supplies to the US and its territories. We have moved virus samples and testing kits, medical masks and other personal protective equipment (“PPE’s”) throughout the nation. In short, we are deeply engaged with our partners in this fight against COVID-19.
Finally, our thoughts go out to those who have been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly, as well as to their communities and the health professionals serving them. We are in awe of those individuals in the healthcare industry around the world who have put themselves directly in the path of this pandemic, to help others and care for those in need.
We are living in extraordinary times, but I am reassured by the fact that our network is filled with extraordinary people. We have always considered ourselves to be an extension of the people and customers we serve. To this end, Adcom remains committed to you as your partner in working together to face this most unusual of adversaries.
We will continue to keep you updated in the coming days and weeks. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns or feedback. In the meantime, we sincerely hope that you and yours remain safe and healthy, and we look forward to a speedy resolution to this global challenge.
Thanks for your continued trust and support,
