Staff Accountant (Full Time)

This job contributes to Radiant’s success by reviewing, balancing, and posting corporate financial data into the General Ledger in an accurate and timely manner.  Performs routine general ledger account analysis and makes adjusting entries.  Researches and posts account corrections in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal account definitions.  Initiates, develops and implements process improvements. 



  • Reviews, balances and posts corporate financial data from multiple systems into the General Ledger.

  • Performs account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepant items timely and accurately. 

  • Prepares, reconciles, and posts accounting transactions.

  • Researches questions about financial information, and posts correcting entries in accordance with GAAP and internal account definitions.

  • Processes clearing transactions in open item managed accounts.

  • Serves as backup support to team.

  • Maintains awareness of activities and issues that could impact daily operations and service levels

  • Recommends and helps develop and implement workflow improvements.

  • Identifies issues and brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.


  • 2+ years accounting experience.

  • Quick learner and detailed.

  • Solid understanding of multiple financial systems.

  • Basic knowledge of Excel or Word.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality surrounding sensitive employee or company information.

  • Basic understanding of business math calculations.

  • Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across Radiant for the achievement of business goals.

  • Demonstrates basic understanding of how to apply GAAP to General Ledger accounting

  • Executes effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goals.

  • Works smart by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and planning well in order to produce quality work.

  • Clearly conveys and accurately receives information by a variety of methods and in various situations.

  • Builds rapport with all kinds of people inside and outside the organization
