Facility Coordinator
Full Time –Mississauga, ON, Canada

What You'll Do:

  • Follow up with appropriate vendors on maintenance and service calls to ensure timelines are met. Escalate if there are service failures or issues. Follow up on any deficiencies found in the completed work to ensure compliance.

  • Issue and terminate building access security fobs. Maintain updated records, including lost and replacement fobs.

  • Research new vendors, gather quotes and provide recommendations.

  • Ensure that all vendors’ insurance certificates and Workers Compensation are up to date.

  • Reconcile vendor invoices to match with back up documents.

  • Sign in vendors and escort them to the area of work.

  • Occasional travel to other locations in the GTA.

  • Make recommendations for process improvements.

  • Work on special projects as required.

  • Other duties and assignments as required.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in an Office or Warehouse Administration role is required.

  • Minimum 1-year experience in Security Systems or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
  • High school diploma is required.

  • College Diploma / University Degree in Facility Management, Administration or related discipline is an asset.

  • Experience in Transportation / Logistics / Warehousing industry is an asset.

  • Knowledge of Security Systems is an asset.

  • Valid G License with access to vehicle is required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word.

  • Dedicated commitment to providing superior internal and external customer service.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.

  • Analytical, accurate and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
