Success at Airgroup involves:
- Day-to-day domestic operations executing with accuracy via all modes and services provided, including quoting, tracking, tracing, booking, phone calls, data entry and maintenance, etc.
- Independently facilitate and execute from door-to-final mile on all modes of Domestic transportation services offered
- Pro-actively explore all options, thinking outside the box, to secure business opportunities, secure service requirements and build trust and confidence with our clients/prospective clients
- Devise and implement tailored solutions for customers as needed/requested to increase efficiency, add value, and maximize profitability in their Domestic supply chain
- Exceed client expectations through pro-actively and independently managing service requirements and by being one-step ahead in the communication/solution driven process as it relates to shipment status and when dealing with service issues
- Build relationships with clients through consistent and organized contact along with providing them with relevant and pertinent industry updates
- Fully develop assigned accounts to capture all available transportation revenue
- Build revenues and secure business by following up on quotes, including follow-up on all business opportunities quoted and if the business is not won, working with the client/prospective client and carrier to understand why and how we can gain their business.
- Complete analysis and related ad hoc projects as required/requested
- Generate innovative ideas to Management which may improve operations/efficiencies
- Ensure the proper on-boarding of new clients is followed and update internal SOP as needed
- Assist with invoicing preparation with accuracy and detail
- Assist with interdepartmental projects and/or initiatives when required
Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and/or minimum 2 years industry experience...though for the right person, we would consider someone new to the field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior active listening skills
- High energy and results driven
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, internet navigation and Email
- Experience working autonomously
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
- Successful completion of TSA test
- Approved STA
- Dangerous Good Certification for employees handling Dangerous Goods Cargo (as needed or assigned)
